Our drainage professional will make a thorough assessment of your current situation and take the time to explain all of your options. For a typical job we first obtain all necessary licenses and permits. Laser technology measures and sets the angle for the pipes so water flows smoothly downhill. Then we carefully cut, remove and roll your top layer of sod for later replacement. After laying down plywood to protect your lawn, we dig a trench to the pre-specifications, and begin pipe installation.
In areas where the pipe collects water from above and below the ground, we install heavy-duty perforated drainage pipe. Most of this dirt is hauled away and replaced with clean stone that improves the flow of water into the pipe. In areas that connect gutter downspouts or sump pump discharge to your new drainage system, we install industrial strength pipe that is glued together to avoid leakage or root damage.
We tunnel under sidewalks or obstructions to avoid costly digging and replacement expenses. Then your drainage line is connected to a local storm drain through a bubbler system. Finally, we replace all sod and start cleaning. By the time our crew leaves, the only way you'll know we've been there is that there won't be any water left! All you have to do is sit back and start enjoying your yard again.
